Tap “Enable” on this screen, which will prompt two permission request boxes. The Pushbullet API lets you send/receive pushes and do everything else the official Pushbullet clients can do. To access the API you'll need an access token so the server knows who you are. You can get one from your Account Settings page. Pushbullet's capabilities might seem like mere text messaging, but it's only half of what this service can do. The other half is Notification Mirroring, which seamlessly pushes all the notifications appearing on your Android to your computer.
I also do a lot of art , and have found it the easiest way to transfer files between ALL my devices, laptop, tablet and phone. I highly recommend it, and pray they never go out of business. You start by pairing Pushbullet with a Google Account, either on your phone or through the Pushbullet website.

Ephemerals respond with an empty JSON object unless there is an error. Does not have a set expiration time, but may be expired at some point in the future. If you delete your client, all existing tokens are invalidated. The user authorizes your application by clicking the "Allow" button. Value from an object returned by the server (don't trust the local machine's timestamp as it usually is not the same value as the server).
Use the latest timestamp you have seen on a push object instead. Since pushes are returned with most recently modified first, this will be the first push you get from any call to list-pushes. Pushbullet is pretty darn close to a one-stop shop, but nearly all the actions it performs can be done with other Android applications. The power of Pushbullet is that it can sit on top of everything, and mirror Android notifications.

Mirrored notifications are notifications sent from android devices to other devices. To test these out you can go into the android app's settings screen and hit the button "Send a test notification" while listening to the stream. You can send arbitrary JSON messages, called "ephemerals", to all devices on your account.

Once it’s installed, go ahead and click the Pushbullet icon beside the address bar. It’s a little green icon with a bullet in it. Finally, you can set Pushbullet up to allow texting from your computer—this is by far my favorite Pushbullet feature.
